I’ve been helping my uncle care for his Newell for the last couple years. I’ve made numerous repairs to the interior and exterior, including replacing slide bearings.

That's great!  Perhaps you could document your experiences here.  There aren't many that have done a lot of work on the models with Valid Slides, ZF Suspension & steering tag, Silverleaf and Cummins.
