Thank you for the write up. I am in the market and have been looking around. I see the prices all over the place with unrealistic asking price (as in 02 Newell listed for $399K or 04 for 250k ect ect) which sits for sale for years. I also noticed that most private sellers seems to want more then one could buy a better quality Newell from dealership say MOT or other places. I have been looking for a bit longer then a year and along the way I have found couches that were listed for years (as an example 2008 started at $469K and eventually sold for $250) One can see on RV trader how people are listing there coaches for high asking price and how long they sit. I am still in the market for a Newell but now considering a Prevost conversion. I have been told that I should wait a few more months because prices are dropping further (right before summer) as just this month used RV pricing dropped again another 15%. I have also considered to drop the RV thing all together as I am not sure I will use it every year. Another thing is in the back of my mind is the price per use per mile is crazy, everything around RV seems to keep going up and up and up as in fuel, repairs/maintenance, RV resort fees, specially the rv park fees are crazy, ect ect ect. It's not that I cannot afford it, its if its economically makes sense. Of course there are the retail version of diesel pushers which are much cheaper and newer RV, which is an option as well. For now still looking and considering other options....As a Buyer, this is just my point of view.
