i have been getting questions on what happens if you screw the valve body too tight onto the manifold.
the 3 bright and shiny valve bodies are ones that have been screwed on too tight. you can clearly see where they would leak at the port by the inner o ring
they are bright and shiny because i put them in my shell tumbler to make them easier to see in the pictures.
the o rings are what seals it. not metal to metal force.
these valves are now over 200 dollars apiece. so rebuilding all six of them for less than that makes alot more sense. so do not overtighten them like your manly strong hands wants to do with a gigantic pair of channel locks. and put o ring lube on the outer o rings....NOT the one inside the valve body where the stem screws in.
i still get these things in fairly small batches since i always think that i will never have anyone wanting anymore. on the main post i say when i have them and when i am about out. as of today i have 3 kits left and have more parts on order.
