Adam I don't think 2 ton in Dallas will keep your coach cool enough for your pleasure with slides. There is no easy way to make either high static ducted unit work without a lot of heat and air ductwork or pulling the lines and mounting the inside evaporators which is my choice. LG is what I have been using but nothing against anything that will fit and meet your needs, I do know LG makes a 24000 BTU 3 zone outdoor unit that will fit in your bay on one side but I would use zone 1 and zone 2 with two 12000 BTU indoor evaporators in the front and put another 12000 BTU outdoor unit on the other side of the bay and run it all the way back to the bedroom indoor evaporator, 36000 BTU should do the trick using inside evaporators in your location even a 9000 BTU in the bedroom would be enough but the cost is about the same as 1the 12000 unit so go bigger. If you decide to make your own plenums and tie into the existing ductwork I would go no less the one 36000 BTU outdoor unit and a high static (lots of cfm) ducted evaporator to tie into the plenum feeding the existing ductwork. You will have some friction loss due to the existing ductwork and some temp loss but would be far better than what you have now. Inverter units are way better than anything out there.
