Decided to add to this thread since its dealing with the merge solenoid.
So based on a suggestion for one of the Wanderlodge members I decided to replace my merge solenoid with a Blue Sea ACR part #7622 and its control switch Blue Sea #2146.
The Blue Sea ACR monitors both battery banks and when it sees either bank charging it merges the banks. It also has protections in it so if one bank is too low or too high it will not merge them. You can also manually activate it via the switch or via a button on the top of the ACR. It also has an input that drops the merge solenoid out while cranking the engine, which is how I had wired my merge solenoid.
I did a short to show the added switch to the dash. I will do another video showing the installation of the ACR. I ended up removing the battery isolator from the circuit at the back as it was messing with the operation of the ACR.
