I would first find where the wires go and find what has been compromised and repair it, I don't have anything fond to say about HWH other than if your take your rig there they can fix it quick I am told.
I can see your problem was a mouse as you zoom in and see the teeth marks on the wire insulation. I would snip the bad part out and replace with some 18 gauge wire. The black wire should be power, the white wire is ground and the yellow wire is some type of signal in or out more than likely to the solenoid valve or another contactor relay. If you don't feel comfortable with electric I most certainly get an appointment with HWH and take the rig to them. Great pictures by the way!
