I have not seen that coach but I used to own 653 and this looks very familiar to me. If you look behind where the passenger seat would be, you will see a large console. It looks like Newell made it, so I would highly doubt if someone randomly removed the passenger seat.
Also, the floor does not look like it has been patched.
I replaced both seats in 653, and if you remove the seat there is a metal support piece that the seat bolts to. Since the floor does not appear to have the seat support, it’s going to be expen$ive to replace the seat. It can be done and Newell does beautiful work. Of course, you would have to talk to them, but you are looking at replacing the console, pulling up a section of the tile floor, installing the support and then doing something to finish the floor. Like I said…it looks $$$ to me.

Thanks Bill, this was very helpful. I wonder if Newell would talk to me if I called them? I may do that, but if what you say is true, this is the wrong coach for me.
