Greetings all,
I’m in the process of modifying my wet bay. I’ve removed the outer cover. 

I’m adding a Dupree Power Valve where the OEM manual Dupree valve was located (difficult location to “manually” operate). The Power Valve and Manual Valve share the same valve body and rubber gate. 

As noted in this post, grey water collects at the top of the pipe marked “Grey Water” and flows down to the 3” ABS waster pipe connections. 

With the original air operated “Dupree Power Valve” closed and the “Dupree Manual Valve” open, grey water joins the black water through the 3” ABS waste pipe. 

Once the waste tank has fluid in it, 15 gallons as an example, the “manual” valve (on the right) can be closed and the main “Dupree Power Valve” can be opened to allow grey water to flow freely to the septic system through the waste hose. 

I do believe its worth noting that if there isn’t an air “trap” in the hose, sewer gases could possibly work their way into the coach grey water system.
