will work for food
#6

i replaced my tool boxes last year after the big stainless one i had fell over onto darlenes crv and crushed the side of the car.

the drawer latches failed on it.

i would love to spend 15k on tool boxes and get snapon or matco etc, but it seemed a little frivilous. so...i went on the quest to find the best value for a tool box. i did a ton of research and look at reviews and videos on youtube on tool boxes.

and now some of you will turn your noses up i am sure. but the best value by far is at harborfreight. that is if you buy the highest end boxes they have.

when i bought mine last year they were transitioning from dark red to bright red and i got half and half. now they are all bright red.

if you look and watch you can get them on sale.

here are the boxes i got. the large red one weighs over 500 pounds and holds 2000 pounds total. the other is as sturdy.

and this side chest

and then i got this tool cart as a portable. it has the same drawer glides and locks as the big one.

you will be blown away if you actually go to a harborfreight and look at them.
