I am sorry that these are probably not soothing words. But you are facing my second biggest concern about Newell repairs. My first was the salon slide seal replacement. Which we went through 6 months ago.
I am hoping for you that there is some combination of twisting and combobulating that gets that thing out to reach the parts.
