Newell Gurus 2014 Rally Information June 23rd to 28th.
#71

I wish I had posted this yesterday. Warning, when you exit Blue Eye and turn left of 311, be very careful or you will twist your coach. If I had it to do over again, I would have carefully turn left using the "do not enter" making sure no one was coming. The left turn road levels are horrible and I was concerned about either turning over or twisting my radiator. When I got to Ozark RV, I had an antifreeze leak and was alarmed that I had screwed up the radiator. Turns out the plastic radiator reserve tank ruptured and I will have to get a new one for Newell before I can leave. Oh wel!

For any one in the Branson area, still room for you at the rally. Come by & introduce yourself. Nice resort right on the Table Rock Lake.

The potluck last night was as great as the first one! It is wonderful to spend time with such a terrific group of friends. We have had three coaches that had to leave prior to the end of the rally and we missed them last night.

I want to once again thank all of those who helped make the Table Rock Lake rally a memorable event and thank all of the great Newell owners who attended. A special thanks to Chester for the photos, videos and making CD's available of Rudy's AquaHot Annual Maintenance presentation. Steve deserves recognition for his coordination with the park. They have been great hosts. Ozarks RV Resort is a beautiful, well-maintained park and the staff and owners could not have been more gracious. Thanks to Richard for both of his seminars and for his assistance to rally participants. We appreciate Chappell for working with Motorhomes of Texas in providing the gift bags and to Newell for sending Brian Pitts with a coach for us to tour, sending Jimmy to provide technical assistance to a number of the participants and for the gifts. Larry did a great job handling the sign-ups and dealing with the sale of T-shirts and hats. Hedy's Mah-jong sessions were a real hit for many of the rally participants. Forest did a super job of coordinating the potlucks and coordinating the calendar of events. A special thanks to 'Logo' Jeff for his design for the T-shirts again this year. And certainly to Tom, the Head Guru, who got this rally going and provides the forum that we have come to depend on as a communication medium.

I also want to thank all of the participants who took the time to come to the rally and participate on a daily basis. I have made new friends and gotten to spend time with old friends and that is the greatest benefit of these rallies. We are truly living up to Tom's motto of "Friends helping friends".
