Has anyone had any issues with a air leak around your brake pedal inside of the coach? My guess is we are going to have to pull the entire dash and everything on the driver's side to be able to get down to this. Anyone had to tackle this? Any pointers? Richard? LOL
Thanks

Pam,
I had a similar leak. Remove the panel that fits over the brake pedal. The panel was just clipped in. Behind it you will find the brake valve. Mine had push in air fittings. Replaced them with DOT compression fittings and no more leaks.
Thanks everyone! I know where the panel is so I will attempt this tomorrow afternoon and see how far I get! Would be nice to repair and not have to take the entire dash out!
Thanks again

on my 99 i had a loud air leak by the brake pedal. today i took the panel off and fortunately it was a leaky push in fitting easy to get at and change. i replaced it with a compression dot fitting. there was lots of brake line so i cut an inch or so off to have a nice clean and smooth piece of brake tubing to put in the fitting.
here are the before and after pictures..

I apologize for this question being off topic. If you look at Tom's first photo, what are the two black cannisters at the top? I assume they are two sound producing devices. If so, for what? turn signals? low air? nuclear attack?
The reason for asking is I have them but they have never produced a peep.

i did look at them when i had it exposed and they definitely are some kind of sound squeeler. not sure what for as i have not heard anything from under the dash.
i will play around at some point to see if i can figure out what they are for.
they are hanging free in there. they are not secured.
