Was definitely a Newell, probably 2000s era if I had to guess.
I could see a blower motor resistor being an issue. They are usually mounted inside the air plenum to cool them. Side note, the blower resistor is only used on the slower speeds, high speed is direct to the blower motor.

I went back through some of his videos but every video it seems he says he is waiting to hear back from the insurance company and I did not hear any thing about if they ever narrowed it down to a source.

Andrew posted on FB over the weekend that he never did get a cause to his fire.

I kinda figured that was going to be the case based on the damage caused by the fire, that makes it near impossible to pinpoint the ignition source. If it were stopped closer to the incipient stage of the fire then it might be possible. I wonder if they pulled the generator out and looked at it, I would think that the fire suppression would have been activated.
