Front Carefree Paramount patio awning came out crooked this summer.  I was able to stow it with a flat bar forcing it into place and unplugged the control to avoid accidently extending it.  I found an awning arm pin that had backed out most of the way, the allen retainer screw was loose.  After getting the pin in place the awning still came out crooked.  Lubricating the left hand 7' spring arm outer joint cured the problem.  See Service Manual page 30, item 24, Lead Rail Connector.
