I am considering buying this coach. I am researching what it will take to convert this dinette table to something that would allow more sleeping space for the kids. The table with leaf is really nice but not suitable for my current needs. Any ideas or photos of alternative options? Photo of current configuration attached.
When I first bought my Newell, it had no dinette at all, just a massive Villa couch with no table!
I managed to find the original solid surface wheat matrix material and had a large tabletop made. Then I found a frame that allowed it to be dropped down, the center cushion put back on top of the table. It forms a nice bed.
This discussion made me go look at my dining table, I assumed it was fixed in place. Well to my surprise it’s not fixed, it has brackets that allow you to remove it and the clear acrylic leg just sits there in a recess. Not sure why it’s removable because there is no way to use it to make the dinette a bed that I can see.
