HWH Slide issues need help
#11

Keep grinding !!!!!!!!

You are doing what any of us would do, and it takes time, and then more time digest what you just learned, and then more time to figure out the next steps.

I encourage you to check the connectors from the HWH brain for signal voltage at every step of the room out, room in sequence. It will narrow down quickly if the problem is the solenoid not getting the signal, the solenoid not opening, or the connector is mismatched on the wrong solenoid.

Oh yeah, I hate to break the news to you, but some of those expressions may have been used before when working on HWH systems.

Here are some pictures of the 2 switches Richard mentions for the floor up stop and floor down stop. I have seen a hole cut into the bottom of the slide to access the switches we cut a hatch in the floor of the slide in order to access them in the future. We rebuild the entire slide a few years back.

The switches in yellow circle are the floor up switches and the orange is slide out and in switches.

btw, my 02 had a different setup for the slide. the rams were not attached the same way as the 99 and the switches were different and it used magnets on the roof to say when the slide was in or out.
