I had a problem with one of the baseboard heaters in my '93. It overheated and could have caused a fire if I didn't notice it. Replaced both of them for less than a $100.

I have worked on both of my propane furnaces (with Tom's assistance on the front one). I have all original electric heaters inside although I have cleaned them out as they were filthy and that can cause BIG trouble. I have one long furnace in the bedroom that isn't working but it seems to be a wiring issue rather than a heater issue. Another project!
