When I'm on 50 amp shore power the two 220V lights blink. The 110V lights do not light at all.

When I'm on genset the two 220V lights burn steady, the 110V lights burn steady and the generator light is very bright.

Just curious why the 220V lights blink on 50A, but don't on genset. Are the 110V lights supposed to be lit when on 50A shore power?

All four of mine are lit both on 50 amp or Genny. Did this just start?

I'm not sure when it started or if it has been this way all along. I've always paid more attention to the volt gauges.

120v shore power the two 120v lights should be steady on

50a shore power all 4 should be on steady

when on genny, all 5 should be on and polarity should not be on

Steve, I took my plug apart and both the ground and neutral wires were loose. I had the same problem you are having but not all the time. Chappell

When a company gives good service I feel they should be recognized. I decided to replace the electrical indicator neon lights. I purchased some yesterday from Zoro Tools for $3.75 a piece. I replaced the incoming electrical indicator lights and they are now all working as designed. Both the two 240V lights and the two 120V lights are lit when plugged into 50 amp power.

I also replaced the fire extinguisher charge indicator light that was in the same panel. It is a little different light as it is 14 volts. I found it at the link below:

Steve, That is great. Was they fairly easy to install? Do they just pop out? Chappell

I left out that I cleaned my 50A coach plug and found no loose lugs and the lights still didn't work. Each light has a little metal clip that can be removed with a blade screwdriver. Everything is a nice tight fit that takes a little twisting and pushing to remove. They go back in the same as the came out. I don't think the clip does much as they fit very tight. I just made a wiring diagram and then installed and rewired them one by one. I used these(c-link) to splice them into the wiring. They worked great.
