Can we talk maintenance cost?

I took a look at the blueprints at 125 magnification and although there are lines all over, I did not detect any straight line that would identify the slides closed. I’ve attache the blueprint for your perusal...

Michael, you are sure right about one color changing the look, it looks good, seems like it adds some depth. Do you have any idea what a color change like that would cost?

Hey Michael,

I noticed that you tow a tailer and wonder your experience with it? I’ve read many conversations about it with some saying they have pulled a trailer for years with great success and is the way to go. BTW do you have a car in there?

Others say its too much trouble, you have to detach it in too many RV parks, many times not being able to keep it at the RV park so you have to find somewhere else to keep it. And then if you can keep it in the RV park they will charge you for it, it can be parked why away from your coach and its a general pain in your brain.

I don’t know if I necessarily would pull an enclosed trailer but I do like the idea of a car-carrier like you see many times from U-Haul. I’ve used the car-carrier a couple times and thought it worked great. Plus I don’t have to be selective about the car I take and/or having to buy a new vehicle.

But I’ve not used it from the motorhome standpoint in RV parks, National Parks and Boon-Docking. So what say you your swami-ness?

The lines are not straight and follow the contour of what is there. They are very light and you really have to look for them.

If u are going to pull a trailer an enclosed one is the way to go. I have a champion stacker took it to the Grand Canyon, hauled 2 cars a big tool box and a quad seat rzr.. Was awesome to have all the toys with me

Harry, although I have a photo of a stacker in my galleries, it belongs to someone I met at the Newell factory many years ago. I tow a PT Cruiser 4 down. One of the few vehicles that my puppy can get into and ride in comfortably.

Trailers of any kind are a pain the rear period.... We are full time for several years and know only a few who still use them regularly like Marc or Ron does. A trailer in the majority of the parks and resorts in the country is not a good option and often requires parking it elsewhere. Some will allow a 2 wheel car carrier on your site but none of the nice parks or resorts will let you have a trailer attached unless they have large pull thrus and that isn't always allowed case either. If you have a bunch of toys that you have to drag around then you will learn to deal with it. If your only pulling a car , do it 4 wheels down for the least headaches and smallest cost. You can still hang a motorcycle on the back over your tow bar....
