Richard you crawled inside the plenum? Yuck! Would you clean mine??
I remember at Spearfish looking inside Toms and saw the extra filters, etc. he pulled out that was probably restricting his airflow.
I looked inside mine when I had the compressor replaced at Newell and it was relatively clean. The inside surfaces were sprayed foam so it isn't a smooth surface. While the a/c was out I cleaned both evaporator coils with the no-rinse spray. Probably needs it again. Another project for the winter.
