External air for long term parking
#1

I have external air available where I store my coach and I would like to idle the 120v compressor. What is the minimum air pressure needed to keep the systems working, including the air bags?

The air bags should stay up for an extended period, at least mine do. For much of the air operated items 40 psi would be sufficient but I find that without 75-80 psi, raising my coach is tediously slow. If your air bags are deflating I would probably try to track down the leak. Otherwise, I would likely set the external air at 80 psi which is about the middle of the range for the 120 volt air compressor. Mine is 75-95 psi but I understand that many are 70-90 psi. I don't think that anything between about 75 and 120 would be an issue since that is where the engine air compressor and the 120 volt air compressor keep the system.
