Slide Rattle Question

the hinges have a few screws that allow you to adjust them up and down. however what was sqeaking on mine was the latches. they used the same 10lb catch as everywhere else in the coach on the bottom and a magnetic latch on the top.

the ten lb catch needed adjusting up or down to make it catch just right so it wouldnt squeak.

OK, here's my duhhh moment. On our recent trip out west Cindy's speaker (the one for the stereoTongue) started buzzing. Oh well I'll just replace both when we can find a set. Turned out it was the latch on the overhead panel that was buzzing as we cruised down the highway! Luckily she figured it out before I replaced a perfectly good set of speakers. It tightened the screws and it's been fine since.

Hello,
We are on the road for good 5 months now ! and while driving so many miles we did located few noises in our coach.
one was right above my head and one right in the front center at the roof area.
After stopping and checking the celling area , I found that our leather decorative panels ( the one are covering our AC units ) are loose and ratteling while driving!
After tighting all teh nuts and included extra two hole metal flat bracket to fuse the panels together, no more knocking noise!
I found the same thing above the sink & stove area , at teh top we have two layers of decorative cover panels covered with nice white leather and same situation ! loose screws and needed to maounted extra bracket there as well and it solded noise problem!

I have few minimal noises but the loud ones are gone...

My next upgrade is to include all 4 bushing on my two slides , all of them gone or never been put in first place...

Best,
Les Korcala
