On our 86 we removed the gas heaters " mainly because one caught on fire and was shooting flames out of the exhaust port of the coach" and replaced with radiant heaters the one in the front and back of the coach were electric the one under our refrigerator was a propane fire place style we replaced the couch and shelf unit behind the captains chair and added the first heater behind the chair but this being said we either run a gen set or were plugged in to shore power 99% of the time and we also live in southern oklahoma ...... from what i've read on installs of the aqua hot systems and the access you should have to the bottom of your coach it's doable but not a cheap fix ..... and the AH is a world of nice in our new coach a lot of advantages .....
