I recently had my salon slide valance off and noticed how close the slide hook was coming to hitting right against the frame. After pondering
a bit, I decided to build an insert with ramp to guide the hook in place. A local sheet metal fabrication shop was the ticket and $40 later this is what I have.
I also injected epoxy into the cavity to hold the piece in place. Prior to epoxy I sprayed foam in so the epoxy would not flow all the way down the tube.
(Sorry about the pic's being rotated I cannot figure out how to get them uploaded correctly)
