Hi Everyone- we bought this Newell Coach in June and are excited to start working on it. It needs mechanical work and we also want to change some things inside. For example we want to buy a new toilet seat but aren’t sure where to buy it.
It’s not a regular/typical
Rv toilet. This seems to me electrical and uses a pump? If anyone had any ideas or recommendations please let us know

Welcome to our group. Many of us have coaches of your era. They came with a simple mechanical toilet which gravity feeds into the tank below . Sadly, this is an area that i have some hands on experience in. Ours came with a Dometic 320 toilet, but all of the 300 series Dometics will fit. Every Newell is different, but this is one area that we seem to have in common, unless a previous owner has done modification.

Congratulations on your purchase and finding this forum! Fun fact; your Newell was built to go a million + miles, if you maintain it, it'll still be on the road while 90% of motorhomes built this year won't.
