Great post as always Richard. Feels like this kind of links back to what I hear you say quite often when trying to troubleshoot for folks of "what's the last thing you did". Guessing that is tougher for you as over the winter I'm guessing there was A LOT of "last" things getting ready for this Alaska tour. So glad you've put that mantra in my mind as it's now my first thought when something weird creeps up out of the blue.
