Hi everyone,
Does anyone know how the aquahot temperature display operates? I don't see it mentioned in any of the AH docs that I have.
Mine is suddenly showing values from 0 to about 30. Temps have been in the 40s to 50s, and even in this odd range, the temps don't seem to correlate with the temp of the coolant. IE hot coolant is just as likely to show 0 as it is 30. Same if I let it cool down.

Oh 567, the gauge is a single wire sensor style and fed with 12vdc. The sensor is screwed into a sidewall port at the top of the AH accessible by removing the operating and high limit thermostat cover.
My sensor went south several years ago and I replaced with a guess at what sensor was originally used. I got close but it is not accurate. I don’t really care about its accuracy just that it is ranging. On electric, the operating temp display shows 226 max. We’ve grown accustomed to the disparity.
It believe the replacement was a datcon product.

Thanks a ton, Richard! I hope things are well with you.
Someone my imagination for search terms last night was severely stunted and "aquahot display" came up with nothing.
