Hydraulic leak stuck at rv park
#1

Changed fluid to amsoil synthetic while changing two hoses. All of a sudden I have leaks in new places. What fluid other than synthetic should I put in?
2005 dd 60 .
Thanks

I don't know if your coach has HWH system, but on my system I used Plain ATF fluid Dextron III.  I leaked a few gallons with my broken actuator and have not had any issues.

Can you get to the leaks and get them fixed?

Austin hose has mobile service https://www.austinhose.com/contact/us

And they could bring a 5 gallon bucket of decent hydraulic oil for an added 80 bucks

John are the leaks on the hose connections you changed?

Newell told me I could use any synthetic ATF in my hydraulic system. Where are your leaks

Update , went to Austin hose change o ring on boss fitting on manifold. Solved that new leak. With fan hose from pump then leaked, hose failure, back to Austin for new hose. Put that on.
No leaks on my previous new hoses.
Will post excellent review for Austin.

Well the leak came back at the new boss fitting at the fan hydraulic manifold input from the pump. took out the new fitting and compared to the original one. Surprise- the od on the boss where o ring ID fits was smaller than the original. replaced the o ring on original boss and leak stopped. Lesson- not sure-
who would expect a standard hydraulic fitting to have such a noticeable tolerance?
