Resetting the Pressure Switch Failure Error
#1

I got off the horn with Valid a little earlier regarding the Pressure Switch Failure error resulting in the Curbside Salon Slide not cycling through(it would only drop the floor). I swapped pressure switches(SMC) from the rear slide to the front, and still got the error(even after cycling all power off/on). It turns out that all you need to do is Press and Release the Shift button once, then press and release the Slide/Select button once to reset the error. Some gurus may have known this already, but I was getting pretty anxious until Craig at Valid called me back. This may also work to reset other errors as well. I just kept laughing at how easy it was.

Justin, could you elaborate on your problem & solution?  Your vintage may have a different Valid display & manual.  I don't see a "Shift" button on the display or in the manual.  I do have a "Room Select" button which may be the same as your "Slide/Select"?

There have been few discussions on here about the Valid system so any information would be appreciated.

I should have clarified... it's the earlier generation,  non touchscreen, 9 button small 2 line lcd panel version. This is probably a first generation unit as the coach is a 2007 #1212

On the larger lcd full screen(probably like yours), you can navigate to the reset.

I'm on the road,  but I'll try and upload a picture later.
