Steve,

Great list! I think this is how we should arrange this list...First by state then by location. I stumbled upon Tom Sawyers in West Memphis and loved the place. Watching the boats go up and down the Mississippi River was fantastic! Cool

I have a few parks to add to this list. They are not high end parks....mostly they are Passport America parks that we spent a night, or two at along the way. I really don't like having to drop my trailer, especially when we are only staying one night in a location, so I am always checking for parks that have long pulls throughs:

1) Nebraska:
Pine Grove RV Park - Greenwood - between Omaha and Lincoln on I-80

2) Idaho:
Craters of the Moon National Monument - Arco
No hookups - dry camping

3) Montana:
Western Montana Fairgrounds - Missoula

4) Washington:
Conestoga Quarters RV Park - Port Angeles
Forks 101 RV Park - Forks

5) Louisiana:
Frog City RV Park - Duson

6) Georgia:
Red Gate RV Park - Savannah

7) Texas:
Padre Bali Park - Padre Island

8) Florida:
Forest Capital Museum State Park - Perry

These are all parks where we were able to park our 62' without dropping our trailer, so I know these places will work for those who just pull a car behind their coach. Again, these are, in many cases, bare minimum parks...water, electricity in all but Craters of the Moon, and, with a very few exceptions, sewer. Very few amenities. Great overnight places.

I added this RV park to my posting. It was built and run by rvers. Park has many trees, but they are well trimmed to 14 feet. We wanted satellite tv and the owner knew which site in her park was "Dish friendly". Park is very clean, gravel sites with modern and well placed utilities, nice pool and wide roads which allow moving a 45 foot motorhome through the park easily with the tow vehicle hooked up. Park is located in southern Illinois--south of Interstate 64 and north of Cairo at exit 77 of Interstate 57.

Lake Seguma, Iowa
Van Buren County Camp Ground
Sites are 50 plus feet long with ample room for slides.
Small and quiet, walking distance to Lake Seguma. Villages of Van Buren and other Iowa tourist locales. Rural and quiet. 16 full service sites and 12 modern and 8 tent.
Both our direct tv and Moto sat work well!!
No pull thrus in full service, 4 pull thrus in modern only.
Awesome place.

Thanks for sharing these parks. What about city/county/state/federal parks? We're looking at 36-40' coaches and will have a toad. No slides, but we like to have some space between our coach and the neighbor's coach.
