we have been traveling since 30 Dec.

This trip we headed south on I65 to I20, stopped at Blue Beacon in Tuscaloosa for the works.
They did great, coach was standing tall. We stopped for the night at Gulfport MS. It was a small park
With a view of the gulf. Great oysters just down the street. Next day.....
We got a early start (for us) about 0900 and guess what??  It RAINED got our clean unit dirty.
Made it into Galveston that evening, had dinner at Millers....great shrimp!! Love the place.

We parked the coach at Delanara Park. Rudy came down and checked the aquahot (great guy). We Looked in on our condo, picked up a few things, visited with the grandkids and headed west on I10.
Our next stop was San Antonio (good food). We spent 2 nights at Green Lake Park, its a nice place.

Next stop FT Stockton TX for the night, good stop.

Got back on the road about mid morning, drove to El Paso, stopped at Blue Beacon
For a quick wash, then on to Las Cruces for the night.

Our next stop was Tucson at Rincon (great place). We spent the week touring Tucson,
Loved the Air Museum!!!

We are now at Desert Gold Brenda AZ, really like this place.

Thinking about moving down to Yuma... anyone know a good spot???

My Prosine 3.0 inverter/charger is showing a fault code of 195. The manual says it’s an internal issue and to check with Prosine. Everything I’ve read online says there is no support for this inverter and they are virtually nonrepairable. Is this true and correct? I am pretty good at replacing parts, but I am not an electrician by any means. Should I just bite the bullet and replace this ProCyte 3.0? If so, what brand would you recommend?

My first Newell sighting outside of Miami!

We're at Usery Mountain in Mesa, AZ. I had just spoken with Tom and told him there were no other Newells here and not 30 minutes later, I look up from my work at the dinette and see a beautiful blue Classis driving past!

Introduced myself and had a nice chat with Jim and Gail.

If anyone is headed to Newell in Miami today PLEASE be careful!  They have snow on turnpike and several wrecks right now!  So please be careful if you are headed this way!

The fast idle speed is running around 1600rpm. That seems to be to high or is it just me? How do I adjust that? It’s a 1989 with an 8V92
Thanks

For those attending the 2018 NewellGurus/No Rally Rally in May 2018, we would like to determine if there are sufficient interest in having Bode Air Door issues addresses by Newell to warrant Newell providing some level of assistance.

IF you have a Bode Air Door AND are planning on attending the No Rally Rally in May 2018, please vote in this poll to help determine interest.

Please check as many boxes as apply to your coach if you have a Bode Entrance Air Operated Door. If you are having issues and plan on attending the rally, please make a post below describing the specific issues you are experiencing.

Hi Guys,
Does anyone know who makes the door button on a 2008?
mine appears to be a bit sticky! it sometimes takes 10 or so presses for it to work and open the door.
Thanks

Gurus, I have decided to sell coach #689.  My goal is for MOT to sell the coach.  It is a four slide 2004 Newell coach with roof airs.  Wonderful interior,  Exterior Grey/Black with a yellow stripe.  112,000 miles.  I will be taking the coach to Motorhome of Texas for then to sell. They will be listing on their site with pictures and information probably in the next 30 days,

After 17 years of owning Newells, it is going to be strange to travel in a car, but this is the right decision for this 76 year old guru.

Please contact Motorhome of Texas for information

All,
Our 08 Newell was at Motorhomes of Texas for some service and remodeling. The day we went to bring the coach home it developed rear slide problems. The rear slides would not retract. Therefore, we left the coach at MOT. Motorhomes of Texas contacted both Valid and Newell. The final diagnosis was that one slide needs a new bladder and the other needs new bearing/s. MOT has or will transport the coach to Newell Coach.
What should we expect from long term reliability of these repairs? Is this the beginning of long term/on going slide issues? Is this a permanent fix or just a patch? We have owned three other coaches and this is the first one that has had any slide issues. Very disappointed with this issue.
Thanks in advance for any and all commitments.

Reese
