Interior Lights to replace Halogens
#11

Get about 10 % extra. A few will break as you are cutting the prongs down and I had a few bad ones. We went for bright white and most like soft. I like the ones with 5050 leds.

Tom,

Did you get the 6HP LED or the 10HP LED or what size did you get?

Thanks

i put in the biggest and brightest ones that would fit.

12 5050 smd led's. paid a little less than 2 bucks apiece.

you have to take out the reflector in the fixture and take the black plastic spacer off of the light and trim down the prongs.

i like cool white and that is what we put in.

I think mine have 9 leds and the card size just fits in the fixture. But the pin diameter is a bit too big so it's difficult to push them in. On some I have to pull the fixture down and pull off the back so that I can insert the led. That's why I haven't finished all of mine yet. Too busy on other stuff.
