Neglected to mention the reason for the air bag failure which may help someone else avoid the situation. The bag that failed was new, installed only 4 months ago. The rod that controls the height control valve was evidently struck by something that a tire thru upwards and bent the rod towards the air bag and it was rubbing. It finally rubbed a hole about the size of a dime. I will blame the end result on my neglect, The right side was slow to build pressure recently and I just didn't get down there and look like I should have! Another lesson learned!!
