2016 Newell Gurus Rally Planning
#21

My thoughts ....
Spring or Fall but not during a holiday. Winter could be fun too if we could be somewhere warm (this would help the Canadians since they come south and need to return before they spend too many days here).
The thought of being near water sounds great, primitive is fine and we could get by dry-camping or with 30 Amp service as long as it is cool.

The last time I did a primitive park it took two months to get the ants out of the coach.

We already have a map....just click on "User Location".....if you have not entered your user location and to want to attend the next rally just click on the "USER LOCATIONS' tab at the top of the page and enter your information.......easy peezy.

OK I suggest somewhere near Tom's House! He does so much for all of us we should make his travels as short or long as he wants!
How about Sedona? might not be close but should be on our "Bucket List"

Larry, click on the "POST THREAD" button under the "USER LOCATIONS" thread and put in your location information.

I like the Sedona idea, but that may not be centralized enough.

Is there a way to get latitude and longitude off the map pins? Using that data could easily give us the average location.

Run this script:
for (i=0;i<gmarkers.length;i++) { console.log(gmarkers[i].myname + ";  " + gmarkers[i].position.A + ";  " + gmarkers[i].position.F); }

Returns this data:

Thanks Jon, I'll go to work on the calculations. I'm curious how it turns out.

I just did the calculation based upon the information provided above by Jon ( I eliminated duplicates and Tom's Israel pin) and was surprised to find the average location works out to the very southwest corner of Kansas, not far from Liberal. Fascinating, further west and south than I would have imagined.
