I was wondering did replacing the relay socket solve your problem? I think mine melted because of the front motor seizing.

I have been reading all this with great interest because I will more than likely have to replace these motors at some time. One question that I didn't see answered was one from Bob Standeford about his NuHeat and where his breaker is. On my 99 it is in the rear panel and is the only one that is a ground fault breaker. I hope this helps.

When you replaced this motor was the new one loud?? We ordered one to put in under the couch and it is so loud!! I called today and they shipping us another one and will be here tomorrow.

which motor? the big squirrel cage motor is not any noiser than the old one. and mine is in the bay.

It is the heater blower motor Part # VDO PM 393 Blower motor. Called amazon again today and they are sending another one. We received the 2nd one today and it was locked up! So called them and will have the 3rd one here on Friday. Hopefully the 3rd one works! If not will start looking for another source to purchase one from.

Kinda sad you had to order three, just to get one that works. A lot cheaper than buying the AquaHot replacement though. Hopefully they last.
