Interesting gmail trick
If you use gmail as your email address this is an interesting trick to help keep spammers from harvesting your email address.  What the article says is that gmail ignores any . in your address and also ignores anything after + if you add either to your address.  So if your address is and you need to sign up somewhere you don't want to get emails from just add an extra . or two.  Then if the spammer doesn't use gmail servers that email address should not work for them.

Yeah, but you're, in essence, forcing yourself to create a spam filter account that you subsequently send to trash. I just use (knuj is junk spelled backwards). Big Grin
