I removed and reinstalled the accelerator pedal on top of the wood. Since the brake pedal has a few linkages, I did not want to disturb those and
cut the wood around the configuration of the flange the pedal rests on.

Since all I ver use is urethane adhesive, expansion and contraction - if it happens is so small that noting ever moves and that adhesive is forever
