Is anyone familiar with this Newell

I need a new Kwikie power step at the midship entrance door. 1996 Newell 45
I believe the company is no longer in business, but hope someone has taken over and has parts, and such.
Anyone know??
Thanks!
Here's another subject that's probably been addressed before - although I did look pretty diligently for existing threads.
The black monster that hovers over the driver and co-pilot appears to have dropped from its original position. About 1" low on the left; 1/2" or less on the right. Randy at Newell Service confirmed that this is an issue and gave me basic directions to shore up the unit before reattaching it to the plywood interior walls. I'd be grateful for any other Guru tips and techniques before I tackle this.
Hello,
My wife and I have owned a 08 Winnebago Journey for one year. We’re ready to step up to a good used Newell.
We will have numerous questions and hope to find the answers on your forum.
I have no doubt that we will be able to transition to this class of coach with the help of the experienced however we’ve realized our first shortcoming.
We rent a covered storage stall for our Winnebago and a Newell will also fit BUT... at this time we don’t have access to a indoor storage facility that would have power and heat.
We live in Arkansas and it can get below freezing for long periods of time. Does anyone store their coach in the elements and if so what procedures do you use to winterize it and maintain the batteries?
I’m not satisfied that not being able to have it powered up and indoors is a deal breaker but I certainly don’t want to jeopardize a investment like this.
All advice will be appreciated.
JK

darlene and i just got back from a month on the road visiting some of our newell friends. we drove our car as the newell is about to get a new slide seal.
what an amazing month in visiting and staying with the entrekins, days, oliviers and steve magown. all who let us stay in their homes and visit and have a ton of fun. texas, north and south Louisiana and florida.
we also stopped in and met in person mike meer in florida. we ran out of time and would have loved to visited more of you.
we recently bought a genesis g90 awd and this was its first big roadtrip. did over 5000 miles. today doing almost 700. what an amazing road machine.
it is so amazing the friends we have made and how so many of you are like family to us now
we are hoping many of you will stop by our place this winter in arizona. we have two full hookup 50a spots.

The mechanic who is working on my 1987 8V92 (mechanical) said that the high temp shutdown switch is not working and asked if I could get a schematic of the wiring for this bus. I laughed. Does anyone know how the high temp shutdown is wired in Newells of this period?
Inficon Ultra Sonic Leak Detector 700-202-G1 To Help Find Those Pesky Air Leaks. Like New $200.
My coach is filled with Southco C3 latches of various pull strengths.
Most of male sides of the latches (called "grabbers," as I learned today) are a special "light duty" style that is thinner, presumably for clearance reasons. But what this means is that we can't just buy regular C3 latch/grabber pairs on Amazon, because the replacement grabber is too thick and won't fit.
Has anyone sourced these light duty grabbers?
I'm working on hunting down options with Southco, and obviously I can pay Newell 5x for the same piece. Just curious if anyone else already has a source for these, though.
