Hi all,
I own coach 272 and had previously put her up for sale and then backed out as i have had no luck finding my next coach and am spoiled to newell quality. I need a handicap accessible coach with at least two slides and 2003 or older as thats probably all we can afford. My wife Amy is in a wheelchair and plays tennis and is on the usa Paraolympic badminton team. I had parked beside a newell a few years ago next to the ideal coach and had wished i had gotten the owners name in case he ever wanted to sell. It had the uvl lift underneath the entry door that was the perfect set up for us as amy is very independent. We are going to be spending more time in the coach and really need a couple of slides so if anybody has a lead it would be greatly appreciated
thanks for your time,
Robert Austin
anyone have information on the capacitor size for the front basement air conditioner on an older RVAC -SCS model 1301
This site is always my first place to search with a problem. Thanks in advance to all the smart folks that share here.
I'm loosing prime on the Series 60. When you crank the engine, the fuel leaves the Davco and the engine stalls out. If you leave and come back the next day, the Davco has fuel again.
To prime, I take off the Vent cap, fill with fuel, crank the engine and shut it off before the fuel leaves the glass. I repeat this process several times until it finally keeps the fuel at the proper level in the Davco. But once I shut down, the next day the problem repeats itself.
I took it to Detroit Diesel over a year ago and they claimed it was fixed. They took off the device that is supposed to line up fuel molecules (?? a small Coke can sized thing bolted to the motor, they said it was the rage when my coach was built) and replaced a fuel line and said all was well. But, here I go again.
It seams to me like some sort of clog in the fuel intake line. Any ideas on what to check or try? Meanwhile, we're stuck at home!!!

I am still wondering about the LED lights, those running lights that grow thru the P2000i, and seem even more prominent on the p50s. Are the LEDs on Newell coaches functional in throwing light? It is a driveability and safety function, perhaps especially when driving in low light and at night.
We were working on forest's coach putting solar panels up using my scissors lift. It blew the main cylinder seal while we were up. It sprayed fluid all over
It took us longer to clean up than to put the panels on

Am looking at an 05 will the multi wire spyder push buttons. Wife noticed the difference between the green on and red off, on the buttons, but my old eyes cannot tell any difference unless I get about 2 inches away from it.
Does anyone know if there is a master pot. that will turn up the brightness, or change the colors to ones that a color blind guy can see?
Thanks, Jim

The first Newell with the ZF suspension, including the steerable tag axle. 365/70 front tire upgrade, Detroit Series 60, Allison transmission, 3 roof airs, rear bath, mid entry, Motorhomes of Texas $249,500 http://motorhomesoftexas.com/coachrv/new...-45--C2134
This coach was build during the 2003 model year as the first coach with the ZF suspension and tried out by Karl Blade for several months to make sure there were no issues with the new suspension.
