Has anyone either repaired or replaced your sliding screen on the door?  Ours has a tear at the top and lets bugs in!  I'd like to either replace it or repair it.  Any suggestions would be great.   I have searched here and can't find anything on it.

We are in the process of purchasing our first Newell.  Unit number # 1413.

A few questions......

1.  Has anyone updated the Silverleaf Digital Dash Unit.  The coach is a 2011 and Silverleaf appears to have updated their dash units through the years since this bus was manufactured.

2.  Weight of the coach - are these coaches typically over weight?  I have not had this one weighed.  The reason I ask is because they have 150 more HP then a typical Prevost conversion....don't get me wrong, I love power!

3.  Reliability - How is the reliability?  We are trading an Entegra Anthem in the purchase and that Anthem has been truly problem free for 28000 miles.  I drove (2) Newells while shopping and both of them had issues...issues to the point they were barely drive-able. Both were low miles coaches 2009 and 2011.  Being a pilot I have flown lots of different types of Jets.  Some were very reliable and never missed a mission, others would break down seemingly on every flight and it seemed to be model specific and consistent.  There is no place on line where I can find owner perspectives regarding reliability.  Please chime in if able.

There is a thread on the Prevost Community Forum (prevostcommunity.com, General Discussions, "Beware - 365 Tread Separation") regarding 365 tires.  Several have been able to pull about 12 inches of side wall away from the tread.

The picture on the thread shows grabbing the de-coupling grove and pulling out.  2014 and 2015 dated tires.

We are on the road from Rancho Jurupa Ca. to Moab Utah. The infamous Baker Grade west of Las Vegas brought us down to 15 mph 1st gear to keep engine temps under control. The ambient temp that day was 100+The rest of the trip has seen the engine run 190-200 degrees, but any increase in elevation brings us to 2nd gear to manage heat. 

The radiator "looked" clean to me before we started the trip. In Cedar City Utah we had a truck shop steam the radiator, and saw some evidence of dirt in the fins. The cooling did not improve. Today, a fellow guru asked for photos of 8V92 radiator fans. I thought I would send a photo, as no two Newells are alike. Imagine my surprise when I opened the engine bay and saw a totally dirty radiator. Photo attached.  I watched the truck shop steam the radiator, but looking back on the cleaning yesterday, the shop made sure the radiator had flow through it from back to front  as they steam cleaned, but never checked their work in the engine side of the radiator when they were done. Neither did I. Also, I now believe they did not use steam, just hot water. Not ever using a steam cleaner, i did not know what to look for, but I saw no steam, just water. 

Tomorrow I will locate another shop. We are now in the Moab Utah area. I am certain we will be running a lot cooler, thanks to the gurus.

    Something that is out of sight can be out out of mind. This is my old gen belt that is very hard to see. It was still working bit very short on time.

Is anyone willing to send me a picture of their 8V92 Newell fan?  Mine broke off when the a/c mount cracked.  I cannot seem to locate one and the one the repair facility put on really runs hot now.
