For sale on RvTrader. Owner from San Antonio, TX.
Ad says:  The engine is a Detroit Diesel Series 60 DDEC with 470 hp.  It has the Allison HT 471 electronic transmission.  The generator is a 20 KW turbocharged diesel unit with power to spare for your buddies.  The generator exhausts through the roof.

Anyone know this coach and/or owner?
We like what we see.  Priced high for a 1995?

Thanks.  Shy Idea

Hi all,

Just joined up as a result of reaching the conclusion that we aren't going to be satisfied with any other RV for our full timing vision. That puts us between a rock and a hard place; between those lenders who won't accommodate full timing and a debt/income ratio that's higher than is acceptable by those who will, we are left looking for a lease/purchase contract opportunity to make our dream come true. So if any of you who are selling coaches in the 2000-2004 range, and would like to transform your asset that you no longer need into a revenue stream and make more than you would over the term of the agreement than you would by selling it outright, we'd love to hear from you. I can be reached on 480-404-8876.

Looking forward to gaining the benefit of your experience and wisdom once we get on the road. Thanks for listening.

Bob Hughey

I would rather perform maintenance in my driveway than on the road during a vacation. So, i replaced all of the air bags & ride height valves as they all looked original.

I also added the necessary mounts for a quad shock setup on the steer axle.
After replacing all the shocks on my '87. The old shocks had almost no dampening compared to the new KONI 1868s.

I thought it drove OK before. . . . .
The response & positive road feel is so much better now. Big Grin Cool
It feels like I am a participant now, compared to before when it felt like I was mostly a spectator . . . . . Dodgy

I had to buy some big wrenches to deal with the air lines going to the air bags. I hope I never need them again! Big Grin

So I am not so sure about additives anymore after doing some research especially about Biobor JF which I have been using.

I found a pdf stating that Biobor JF was not for (on road use) It also states all kinds of hazardous warnings when handling it.
And if not mixed just right it could cause solids.

Biobor-JF-00001-20140508.pdf

I have ordered some from amazon and are now trying to cancel but it says not returnable so I sent a notice to amazon and a copy of the pdf. Amazon should not be selling this product to the public.

So do we with the older diesels need to be concerned about fungus, old and lubricity? What a market for all this stuff.
If the pdf won't open I will try to send a link.

Brad

The roof of my 2009 uses a black sealant to both attach items like the awnings, satellite dish, etc., and to seal the holes for wires through the roof. I know I'm going to need to change some wires, so what is the sealant?  It feels almost like a rubberized epoxy.
