Hi yall, just took my furnace apart and cleaned the burner etc. I sprayed some lubricant on the intake side of the fan to lube it up too. 
Ive had it running here for a while and its fluttering, kindof snuffing out and relighting itself. Thought maybe was just vapors from the lubricant but it doesn't seem to be improving. Any ideas what it could be without doing a bunch of searching the forums?

Just saw a Newell Classic going East on I 10 Blue n Grey? Around buckeye Arizona!!

I was going through some of the original paperwork for our 1982 Newell today and discovered that the original date of delivery to Leonard Law of Denver, CO (the original owner) was March 1, 1982.....ironically, we took delivery as the third owners on March 1, 2008....26 years to the day after it was delivered to Leonard Law.  Our Detroit Diesel 6V92 silver edition has over 158,000 miles on her and she is still going strong.....actually, she is just barely broken in.  Leonard owned the coach for 22 years keeping it in a climate controlled barn when not in use for all for all of that time before he sold it to a man named Fred Hornbacher of Palm Springs, CA who sold it to us on March 1, 2008.  Fred stored in inside for 2 of the four years he owned it, so it has only been stored outside since 2006.....still has the original paint and awnings.......amazing!  We have been living full time in our Newell since February 1, 2011, and have been travelling full time since February 1, 2012......these Newells stand up quite well to full time use.  You can read our blog (Whatsnewell) about our full time life!

I have a new tool toy.  I needed to know the thickness of a tank wall (  steel ) with no ability to get to the other side of it.

Well, there's a tool for that!  So I  purchased an ultrasonic thickness gauge.  Figured I would test it out and return it if I was not happy.

Well, I am very happy with its performance and price.  $92.50 delivered to my door.

It is easy to test.   We all have lots of stuff that we can put our vernier calipers on and read to a fraction of a mm.
You just apply a little conducive juice to the sensing head ( it's included ) and look for the icon that shows you have a good marriage of the sensor and your material and read the thickness.  Sides need to be parallel for best results.

If I never use it again, it has paid for itself in peace of mind several times over.

Headed north from Memphis in the middle of nowhere KABOOM, hissssssssss. Apparently the HCV for the passenger seat went terrorist and exploded the air suspension bladder. I pulled over and put a kink in the supply tube and tied it off. A cop pulled up, asked if there was a problem. I explained what happened. He asked if I needed anything. I relied "Yup, a laundry"

Now I get to explore yet another coach system. I hope parts are still available.

Well, after a somewhat rough start with our new-to-us Newell (when arriving home from purchasing it in OKC), last night we ventured out for a quick run up to the casino in Mt. Pleasant, MI, a little over an hour away.  This was the first time my other half rode in the coach.  It was great..........the drive up was pleasant, we parked in the casino's RV parking area, went inside for a couple drinks and dinner, spent the night comfortably, and came home this morning.  Very un-eventful, in a good way!  Can't wait for more ventures.

Good morning
Last fall we purchased 443 and have been tinkering with it thru the winter. Last weekend was our first overnight. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. However I noticed when we disconnected from shore power the refrigerator would not stay on using the inverter. I did push the invert button on the interface but with no results. is there a way to test the inverter? Or is the refrigerator suppose to run off the inverter?  I believe it is a Xantrex inverter with a Hart interface.  I am really a newby when it comes to inverters. Any advice would be appreciated. Seems like all the other issues were addressed with a search thru the forums

I have an intermittent rattle in front end, sometimes you can feel it in the steering wheel.
I lifted the front end today and lifted the axle off the ground.
It looks like I have some play in the bushings for the arms that attach to the axle.
I'll start making calls tomorrow to see if I can locate parts.

Does anyone have a source and/or part numbers?
