Forerunner of Newell, this Streamline Travel Home is advertised as Serial Number 67 but is NOT a Newell. This would have been built by the Streamline Trailer Company in El Monte, California. L.K. Newell purchased a Streamline Travel Home (although not this particular one) which lead to his purchase of the Streamline Travel Home Company from the Streamline Trailer Company in 1967. L.K. Newell moved production to Miami, Oklahoma. The first motorhomes built by Newell were badged as Streamline before he changed the badging to Newell.

Hello to all
A little over 2 months ago we became part of the Newell family with our purchase of a 2000 Newell. We made a trip to Miami to have it checked out. The Newell personnel and other owners we met while at Newell were very nice people. We are very happy with our new coach. Have made a few minor repairs and changes with more that are sure to come. It is very good to find this web site as I am sure it will be very helpful.

yesterday on the way to town we saw a late 2000 brown newell towing a tan jeep stopped at the shell station RV pumps in Wittmann AZ.  (in between wickenburg and surprise).

didnt have time to stop or would have pulled over and met them.

Can any one share their experience on replacing the screen door on your newels. I have a screen that stacks to the right side on my mid entry, that would be very similar to a phantom screen door in residential. It now has a nylon screen in it but I was wondering if any one has replaced the screen with a heavier metal type screen with success?

Newell now has #1612 a 2017 quad slide, mid entry, p50, show coach available for $1,941,306. All floors are hardwood except the bath and a half that are both travertine tile.

We have the Cruisair RVAC central system in our coach. Have had continued trouble with the board and have sent it to Flight Systems 4 times. They continue to try and keep it pieced together but it never last and fails again. We are now searching for another board.

The techs at Flight Systems advised that Newell has sent a number of boards in for repair and that it may be possible you have one we could acquire. We need part# 305-2547 for the dual compressor unit.

We had to opportunity to meet many of you at the rally in Ruidoso and hope to see you again soon.The unit in functioning with jumpers by-passing the board, but I need a more permanent solution.

is there any advice I need . I will cut a vent in door for the vent . I have electric now and we do a lot of boondocking so I don't wanna use generator just for water... I wish I had ordered ventless but I didn't so cutting hole is solution I guess..any other suggestions ... I haven't opened box yet , we'll im not even home my wife says it is home now

2008 Quad Slide owned by NASCAR's Jimmie Johnson originally. Rebuilt title according to ad. Listed as a 45' 2000i but actually a 47' P2000i.

I have a detailer friend that is going to help me spruce up the outside. The sides of the coach paint is in good condition, very glossy. I ha d waxed some of it with zymbol cleaner wax and it looks great. However, from the ground the roof paint looks very oxidized. My detailer friend wanted to know what material the roof was made of and what type of painting was used. 2000 model. Is the roof aluminum with imron paint and lots of clear coat?
