Is there much diff, from one to the other? I'm getting ready to replace mine.

My pastors daughter was in the hospital in Fayetteville ar. For the last week. The hospital had electric service so I drove the coach there and let them stay in it so they didn't have to rent a hotel room and could have a place to stay at the hospital. It has been in the teens and when I went to get it today the front would not air up. Ran the engine for 10 mins on fast idle still nothing.. Called Newell they suspected a frozen airline. They had me turn off the coach and the 110 compressor and then restart the engine and run it at 1500 rpms for a few minutes. It worked coach lifted up. Said I had a frozen airline and after the engine warmed up the air the compressor on the engine was getting was warm enough to melt the blockage.. Just wanted to pass this on to anyone else who may run into the problem.

Steve B had told me about this and i thought sure it was on the forum some where but i couldnt find it.
i have had this discount card for about 2 years now and have used it alot. most of the time it is a 10% discount and sometimes much more.
easy to get. they even sent me a renewal card without me asking for it.

Over the past 1.5 days noticed the refrigerator (Dometic 2820) wasn't cooling correctly. Pretty certain it due the the coach being low in the front. The exhaust stack is warming @ the bottom (on electric) so I'm reasonably sure with the front low and the heat being applied to the rear of the coils the ammonia just isn't circulating correctly.
So, I'm going to fire up the coach and level. Do I need to wait a bit to turn the refrigerator back on to let the ammonia 'level' out or just level the coach and turn the refrigerator back on?
BTW, @ least w/20º the Excursion makes a fine refrigerator....

OK you all know what I'm lookin for and I don't mean pretty ladies , I mean compressed air and quiet at that.
You know I want to replace my Thomas 2688TE 44/38 that blows 12psi now instead of 160. so don't be ashamed to get rid of that dusty one you never used taking up extra space where another cooler or bbq would fit. I will give you good cash money for your Tomas or the JunAir 302 or Gast equivalent (I hope Chappell read this so he can publish his model number and source).
So you get the picture... No you don't , Im stuck out here in the desert with no parts anywhere except a truck outfit or very expensive RV Techs that take advantage of us over achievers ( boy , could I ever rant that one) ..
So Hedy went to the movies while I try and find a compressor since starting the engine to fill the airlines is as painful;l as waiting for the 12v to kick in at 30 lbs just when the Bode door won't close when the dog comes back in a 7am because there is no air left ..AARRGGGHHHH..
Ok, Like I said I'm not looking for donations here just a fair deal of taking a dust gathering , space taking 15 ib box off your hands like yesterday....... [email protected]
Peace

The gremlins got me after installing all new fittings , hose and check valve the system holds air just fine but only when I start the engine. The Thomas compressor runs and sounds normal and all other systems seem fine or were replaced except the actual compressor itself....
So can I get a model number of a jun-air or gast that's quiet and fits in the bay under the copilot PLEASE ? and a source please..THanks

Howdy all,
we upgraded our forum to a new web hosting company on dec 25. it has been about 10 days since then and we would like you to click on the poll so we can get a feel as to what your experience has been for how fast the site is and any issues at all. if you have issues, please email me at [email protected]
thanks
tom

hi all,
do you guys have any suggestions on what to use for exhaust gas venting using hose for the coach and my truck?
i have looked online and you can find ones that are like 100 bucks a foot, but that is not what i am looking for. i am talking about running it about 35 to 40 feet.
