For any one who wants to understand the electronic workings of the various HWH systems.

Sorry Forest...............
Here it is in Word format:

I was checking for air leaks and at the six pack in front of the left front wheel there is a nest of wire connections. I found four connections, two female and two male that were not connected. Black and white wires coming form each. All four are factory tagged pressure switch. I started to connect them but did not. What is the pressure switch and why would these not have been connected? Chappell

howdy all,
i was outside doing some things this morning and i noticed that the front drivers side slide was sticking out on the bottom about an inch. top was still flush.
never done that before. i have not moved it in 2 months.
so, i checked to see if there was any hydraulic fluid leaking in the slide compartment and didnt see any wet spots.
i started the engine up and put the slide out and back in and it sealed up flush....but now my level light stays on and the slide pins do not engage.
i checked to see if the magnets on top of the slide that trigger the locking pins to engage were still there and they were.
any wisdom from the crowd here?
thanks
tom

to all of my Newell friends and their families from Cindy and I.
Hope everyone has a great day with family and eats way too much.
And if anybody is in our area Cindy is making her famous bread pudding for dessert.

I found a 2002 for sale at Lazydaze. The salesman did not know much, and the web site only has 1 picture of the outside. It does not match anything in showcase. The VIN supposedly 1n9458x88210116311. Any ideas. Thanks Mike

Part #20C859 They are available at Grainger or Zoro Tools.

I currently have the standard double V belt drive system for the alternator and AC compressor. As others of you who have this setup know, any serious load on the alternator causes the belt to slip, heat up, stretch, and eventually fail.
I have seen a different setup where a belt tensioner and serpentine belt is used. I have seen a few pictures of Newells with this setup.
I want to install this on my rig. Sourcing the serpentine pulleys and tensioner is no problem.
However, I am having a hard time figuring out how DD mounted the tensioner to the engine. Since it is a factory setup, there must be a missing piece but I am having a hard time figuring that out.
If you have this setup, would you post some pictures of how the tensioner is mounted?

When I'm on 50 amp shore power the two 220V lights blink. The 110V lights do not light at all.
When I'm on genset the two 220V lights burn steady, the 110V lights burn steady and the generator light is very bright.
Just curious why the 220V lights blink on 50A, but don't on genset. Are the 110V lights supposed to be lit when on 50A shore power?
