Just make sure when you buy the Bluefire you get the appropriate unit for Apple or Android

My connector was mounted just under the dash above my right knee when sitting in the driver seat. It’s a rectangular connector, called an ALDL connector.
Is it this one??
Yes, that is the ALDL connector. FYI you can access both the DDEC and the Allison form this connector. I know this because Andy from the Wanderlodge forum reprogrammed my Allison through my ALDL connector.
You will need the adapter cable for the Bluefire that I mentioned in my earlier post.

Perfect. Looks like I can just use it as an app on my phone
Are you talking about Bluefire? You can use it on your phone but you’re going to have to set up screens that will fit on your phone. Most folks use an IPad, seems to work the best. I broke down and bought an IPad. Of you also want to use the IPad for GPS navigation you need to get a cell capable iPad. I learned this at our WOG seminar, but forgot it and when I ordered my iPad I did not get the cell capable pad and GPS does not work well without a cell service. Anyways, I am fine with that, as I run my phone as the GPS and the IPad is dedicated to the Bluefire.
I like the apple stuff. I've been meaning to get an ipad for a while now. I think i'm gonna bite the bullet.

When you get all that, let us know. I have several dashboards that work, but not pretty. I found setting up the dashboard to have too many options.
We can easily email you the files so you will be up and running quickly, you can customize to your taste afterwards..

Yes, that will get you going. I missed the correct setting on which communication protocall to use and mine would not connect at first until I changed it.
I also have a screen set up that I copied from one of the Wanderlodge members and modified to my own taste. Its not terribly intuitive in my opinion and you have to do quite a bit of tinkering to get things set like you like it. I still have not gotten the Allison data to populate on mine, but I have not messed with it again. One of the WOG guys told me that I needed to try to make the changes while the engine was running and to put the transmission in gear so that data is being transferred for it to be picked up by the Bluefire.
