I just replaced the transfer switch in my 2001. I followed the schematics on the switch for generator in, shore power in, and coach power out.
The Newell difference is there were two additional circuits, each protected by an inline fuse.
Gen: input L2 protected with a fuse and neutral.
Shore Power: input L1 protected with a fuse and neutral.
I suspect the Generator side powered the generator light over the drivers seat and I'm not sure what the Shore Input side powered. What I distinctly remember is they were on L2 and L1 (opposite of eachother).
At my fuse panel there are some inductors around some 120v lines. I seem to remember in a thread here that the meters pick up the signal(s) from here.
