We actually ran into a park in Trenton, ME that wanted shot records for our dogs. In that 3500 mile trip, they were the only ones that wanted those records. They are also the first park in 17 years of rving that wanted those records.
We didn’t have them, so we were told to keep our animals within the physical camp space we had.
Good reminder! We always ask for 2 extra signed copies of vaccination records when we are at the vet. We put them in the glove compartment of the Jeep and also in the coach. We have needed them at the border and some parks. We also download our dogs medical files which have helped when we needed to visit a vet while traveling in Canada. Better to be safe than sorry. One additional thing we are carrying this year is paper scripts for all our dogs meds and specialty food. One of our berner has kidney disease and needs meds and specialty foods daily and labs ran each month. It makes it easier if we have extra scrips with us for when we need something.
