If you are still planning to on coming to Newfoundland next summer I strongly suggest you book your ferry crossings now. They just reduced the passenger price, which will make it even harder to get on. Someone was saying that the crossing they want for May of next year is already full. There just isn't enough ferry space for everyone that wants it. Also, having a cabin makes the trip much more comfortable. The chairs get hard after a few hours.
