So I will tell you if you put green coolant in, you need to use a supplemental additive, SCA. I use Detroit powercool in mine, this is a glycol based coolant just like the green and will not be a problem to mix with green coolant and it already has the SCAs in it. You have to be very careful with other coolants like OAT based coolants mixing with glycol based coolants as they will gel when mixed. Final Charge is readily available at most auto parts stores, just make sure you are getting the glycol based formula with SCAs. I buy premix just for convenience and that way I know the ratio is correct. Bad coolant can cause thousands of dollars in damage, so spending a few extra bucks on coolant is cheap insurance in my book.
